Two more shows

Wow - we’ve reeled off another 2 in quick time - the Bellevue with Mike Cooper & the Uniclub. Both gigs went well although were very different. We played a much more stripped back sound @ the Bellevue with everything DI’d into the desk and no mics on sax & drums. The sound was sweet and crisp and people in the front row said they loved it as it wasn’t too much for the earholes! We only did 7 songs because of time, but it is definitely great to know we can pull that kind of sound off! And last night at the Uni was great too although as a 2 setter you have more time to establish a feel - the first set went really well and climaxed in our namesake song “Interstellajam” - no, not a breakfast condiment. But after the break we came back and rocked it up with songs like Mystery & Boppy to leave everyone feeling groovy. N

    hi dave and john!
wowzers! great to see what your up to etc. not sure if you have music samples on your web site… ??? but can’t play them if you do coz i’m at my job net work and i’ll get my but kicked if they hear it. hee hee.
send me a cd when you have one done. how much will they cost? i have a friend who books bands at rics in valley so if he likes it he might book you a gig. he is pretty hard to please tho. i call him the music natzi. he books sat nights which means you have to b good and preferably have a following to pull a crowd… but it’s always worth a shot. love the relay pics.
